Fundrasier for Tsunami Victims
On January 6th, 2005, Nollaig na mBan (women's Christmas), the WCWF held a fundraiser for the victims of the Tsunami floods in south east Asia. We raised E3,000 which was donated to the Irish Red Cross.
We would like to thank the Olde Brogue pub in Killimer, Co. Clare for providing the hospitality,
Morgan Roughan and Pat Donovan for the music, Clare FM and Radio Corca Baiscinn for free advertising,
and too many to mention for spot prizes.
Thank you, of course, to all the people who came out and supported the event.
